Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Karkatta , Khalari is situated at the distance of 80 Km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Under Companies Social Responsibility (CSR) Cooking Coal Limited (CCL) has provided land to open this school and to educate very poor tribal people as well as their workers' ward. Khalari is famous for ACC and CCL projects at hand from the school.
There are villagers and the area surrounding of this school is covered with rorcsls and mountains. The school is on the lap of the beauty of nature.
